The Post-IPL Care Kit is advised for clients to use following an IPL treatment.

Contraindications
The gentle but effective noncomedogenic products found within the Post-IPL Care Kit are safe for clients with all skin types including sensitive or acnetic skin.

Additional post-IPL care advice
Independent of using the Post-IPL Care Kit, Christina recommends the following precautions
following IPL treatments:
• Avoid hot water showers or baths for 24 hours following treatment
• Hydrate skin with a suitable moisturizer like the Nourisher - Night Cream, the night following a treatment
• If skin discoloration occurs, it is usually transient
   • Avoid sun exposure for 30 days
   • Use sun protecting cream like the Protector - Day Cream SPF-15
   • Bleaching creams are optional
• There may be slight edema (1 day), slight erythema (1-3 days) or hyper- or hypopigmentation (4-6 weeks)
   • In the case of any hyper- or hypopigmentation, seek medical advice
   • In the case of edema, cool the area for 15 minutes or until the heat sensation fades
   • If side effects persist beyond the above-indicated period, seek medical advice

Note: Makeup may be applied immediately following an IPL treatment.
